The public spaces interior renovation project of the A.V. Vishnevsky Institute of Surgery turned out to be complex. It included the main hall, the cafe with the coat room and the conference room. Simple shapes, white color and laconic design created a feeling of perfect purity and did not violate the spatial integrity of the entire medical facility.
Much attention was paid to the lighting devices. The lighting should have been bright enough and evenly filled the space. Properly selected lamps became the basis of the Institute’s public spaces interior design. The design equipment “MDM-Light” and the high level of the company’s specialists helped to cope with the task.
To preserve and complete without destroying – this was the main principle of working on the space of the conference room designed by Vsevolod Leonidovich Voskresensky. While designing the assembly hall for 670 seats, this talented architect took into account the physical properties of acoustics, as well as provided the most important thing – an open space where the natural light could enter. The project of V. L. Voskresensky did not go unnoticed, and the team of authors was awarded the RSFSR State Prize in the field of architecture in 1972. While developing a new interior space, the parameters originally laid out by the architects were taken into consideration.
